The day dawned wet and drizzling with rain and stayed like that most of the day. Although not particularly cold it was not the best of conditions for our volunteers to be tucking boats up for the winter.
However there were enough people to get most of the job done by lunchtime and stroll across to WOBYC canteen for lunch.
About 30 of us sat down to a fantastic lunch of meat loaf, mash and beans followed by apple and blackberry crumble and bread and butter pudding. Our chefs were Hilary (main course) and Renata (puddings). We understand that Jim managed to hide his best whiskey this year!
Thank you also to Milau who did the washing up, Linda and Gill for support in the kitchen and of course thank you to the outside team for turning out in such miserable weather.
