Friday the 12th April dawned cold and bright but it didn’t stop our volunteers, some of who were at the boatshed at 7.30. At 9.00 am the backup crew arrived and boats were cleaned, rigged and covered ready for next week.

At 12.30 everybody headed to WOBYC where a feast awaited them in the canteen (and I can assure you it was a feast). Hilary’s fish pie was absolutely amazing, and Renata’s puds were out of this world (especially the pancetta bread pudding). Thank you ladies a truly great lunch.

Also many thanks to Linda, Milou, Dot and Jim who helped on the day with all the tables and chairs, serving and clearing up.
